Frequently asked questions

Below is a list of questions I get asked most, if you have any questions that arent answered here dont hesitate to contact me

How much does a mural cost?

This is the question I get asked most.

Murals can be priced in a number of ways but generally I price mine based on square footage (WxH) of the area being painted. This creates a simple no surprise estimate that can be edited to fit within your budget. variables that go into the price per foot include the size and detail of the mural, the material being painted on (drywall, wood, concrete brick etc), the condition of the wall, indoor/outdoor, and whether it is going on the wall, ceiling or floor. Price per foot is comprehensive so is to include everything, design (if required), materials, area and wall prep, masking and painting to final seal.

I do discounts for larger spaces and multiple murals, dont hesitate to ask me about those!

How long does a mural take?

This mainly relies on two factors, the size and detail of your mural. Simple murals can take a day or two while others can take upto a few weeks. as a rule of thumb I would allow for 30 minutes per foot for high detail and 15 minutes per foot for low. I’ll give you an estimated timeline before we start so you can plan around it.

Do you charge for quotes?

Nope! Quotes and design consultations are completely free. I love learning about your ideas and helping you figure out what would work best for your space before any commitment.

Can you help me come up with a design?

Absolutely! You don’t have to have everything figured out. Many clients come to me with just a theme, a color palette, or a feeling they want the mural to capture. I’ll create a custom concept sketch or digital mockup so you can visualize it before we begin.

Can I see what it will look like beforehand?

Yes! I always provide a digital mockup over a photo of your wall so you can see exactly how the mural will fit your space. This step helps both of us get aligned before painting begins.

Can I make changes to the design?

Definitely. I include a round of design revisions to make sure it feels perfect to you. Once painting starts, only small tweaks can be made, but I do everything I can to make sure you’re thrilled with the final look.

How far in advance should I book?

I book up pretty quickly, especially during the cooler months here in Florida! I recommend reaching out at least 3–4 weeks in advance if you have a specific date in mind.

What surfaces can you paint on?

I can paint on drywall, brick, stucco, wood, metal, and even ceilings! As long as the surface is clean and in good condition, I can usually make it work. I’ll handle priming or prepping the surface as needed.

What kind of paint do you use?

I mainly use Behr, Nova, and Sherwin-Williams professional-grade paints. For outdoor murals, I always use UV- and weather-resistant paint to make sure the artwork lasts and keeps its color vibrant for years.

How long will the mural last?

Indoor murals can last decades with minimal care, while outdoor murals usually hold up beautifully for 10+ years with proper sealing and maintenance. I also offer touch-up services if your mural ever needs refreshing.

Do you travel outside Bradenton/ Sarasota?

Yes, I do! I paint all across Florida and sometimes even beyond. Travel costs vary depending on distance, but I’m always open to bringing art to new spaces.

Can you paint murals for Airbnbs or vacation rentals?

Yes — I specialize in AirBnB murals and one of my favorite projects to do! They’re a great way to make your property stand out in photos and give guests a memorable experience. A mural can also easily boost your listing’s views, bookings, and reviews.

How can a mural help my business?

A mural instantly draws attention, attracts new customers, and gives your business a personality people remember. It’s not just decoration — it’s marketing that works 24/7. Many of my clients have seen more foot traffic and social media engagement after their mural went up.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a 50% deposit secures your date and covers materials. The remaining balance is due once the mural is complete and you’re happy with it.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, Zelle, PayPal, CashApp, Apple Pay or business invoicing. For larger commercial projects, I can also provide W-9 forms or invoices for business accounting.

Can you match a specific theme, logo, or brand colors?

Of course! I work closely with your brand style or color palette to make sure your mural fits seamlessly with your space. Whether you want something modern, abstract, tropical, realistic, or neon-inspired, I can design it to match your vision.

Do you paint portraits or specialty art?

Yes, I do portraits, underwater scenes, landscapes, galaxy murals, lettering, and custom designs. I love combining artistic freedom with your personal story to create something meaningful.

Do you work with cities, schools, or nonprofits?

Yes! I’m passionate about community art and love collaborating on public projects, competitions, and local beautification initiatives. If you’re organizing a community mural or grant project, reach out — I’d love to be part of it.
